T-SHIRTS

From March 2026 women can get their own T-Shirts printed, I am no longer printing bulk.

To receive the PDF file of the Old Girls on The Road logo and design that you will be required to supply a printer, you must agree to the following:

o   Printing is primarily for T-shirts (caps, tote bags and stubby coolers are ok too)

o   No more than two items are printed per person

o   Items printed are strictly not for resale

o   Design is strictly not to be circulated

o   Design can be printed front or back of t-shirt or both

o   Design starts 6cm from seam of front neckline with 1cm either way leeway.

o   All liaison, negotiations, and responsibility is yours and the printer you engage, they will talk you through options.

Anything outside these parameters please contact me tracey@oldgirlsontheroad.com

Some Printer suggestions

Chevelle is an Old Girls on The Road member with printing business No Fucks Given. She quoted roughly $30 per shirt, including delivery and depends on style/quality of t-shirt chosen. If you are using Chevelle she has the design PDF on file, no need to request one from me.

Some useful information about printing processes

DTG stands for Direct To Garment.

DTG - A printer sprays water-based ink directly to the fabric (like an inkjet printer for shirts).

The ink soaks into the fibres, then is heat cured.

Best on cotton, not ideal on polyester. A bit slower process so sometimes more expensive.

DTF stands for Direct To Film

DTF – Design is printed onto a special film, then coated with adhesive powder.

The film is heat pressed onto the shirt.

Okay for both cotton and polyester. Has a slightly rubbery/plastic finish. Can crack/peel over time if not good quality.

NOTE: Personally, I prefer DTG. The DTF method does not breathe and can be hot. Not what we want when driving our old girls with no air-con! Confirm with printer if size of design will be compromised (smaller) if you are choosing a ladies style t-shirt. I would prefer that design size is as per the PDF design supplied. (The company I used initially said that due to the t-shirt I chose being a ladies style they printed at maximum size possible which was a bit smaller than the PDF design.)

Fill in the form below to receive the PDF design. No need to request the PDF if you are using Chevelle’s Printing business.
